They've accused me of trench warfare in the village. I have a cemetery next door with a long road with a wonderful chain link fence, which does not fit into my horticultural plans. I thought that I would begin to hide the fence. I've been given 100 (I didn't count) privets. These are bushes. This necessitated digging a trench - so a kind neighbour with a little digging machine dug me a couple treanches. Now I have to remove the sod, refill, and plant. Any more friends?
